STAR-TIDES (Sharing To Accelerate Research – Transformative Innovation for Development and Emergency Support) is a global network of several thousand people and organizations from government, the private sector, academia, NGOs and others. Members share knowledge to help build sustainable resilience and improve emergency responses.  STAR-TIDES is coordinated with the Center for Resilient and Sustainable Communities (C-RASC) at George Mason University.

19th Annual STAR-TIDES Capabilities Demonstration

The 19th Annual Capabilities Demo took place from Apr. 13th-14th 2026, at George Mason University’s Arlington, Virginia campus (“Mason Square”) near Washington, DC.  The theme was “Reimagining Resilience: Empowering Local Communities in a Time of Uncertain Federal Support” A follow-on event was held at the Pentagon from April 15th-16th, 2026.
